Compatibility & Installation:

• Do I need an electrician?

  • Yes. All Smappee chargers must be installed by a licensed electrician to meet Australian wiring rules (AS/NZS 3000) and validate your warranty. We can connect you with an accredited installer in your area.

• Will it suit my EV?

  • Yes. It is compatible with all current Australian-delivered EVs fitted with a standard Type 2 / CCS2 plug.

• Will it integrate with solar?

  • Yes. Paired with the Smappee Infinity monitor, the charger prioritises surplus solar first, so you charge on your own clean energy and cut grid costs. Add solar now or later - the intelligence is built in.
